This water colour came into existence as an experiment, and I can relate the experience to cooking from a recipe. You think you can substitute some ingredients with stuff you have in the cupboard, and sometimes that works wonders. Other times, not as much. It’s a first try using a medium I was not familiar with, but now that I’ve used it once, I’ll certainly go back to it again. So very different from pastels, it makes for a nice change and an interesting creative challenge.
